About the department

Bassett Medical Center’s Operating Room / Perioperative Services unit takes pride in providing care to surgical patients across 12 operating rooms and one hybrid operating room, with accessible state-of-the-art equipment! Annually, we navigate approximately 7,000 cases spanning across Robotic and general surgeries, as well as cardiac, orthopedic, vascular, plastic, GYN, and neurosurgery cases.
