About the role
This role involves a very special blend of strength, compassion and cool headedness. Within the core midwifery environment, no two days will be the same, and you'll be involved with a range of midwifery practice.
You will:
* be supporting lead maternity carers/caseloading midwives accessing our rural maternity unit who provide inpatient labour and birth
* assist with antenatal assessments, labour/birth cares and caring for birthing people and their whānau in a postnatal environment.
We have a women and whānau centered approach to our care and you will be making a real difference to the patient experience.
