About the Role

We are looking for Registered Health Professionals to join our dynamic, innovative, and friendly team with a focus on the delivery of high-quality care to the growing population in the Eastern Bay of Plenty.

The Acute Care (crisis) team support clients and their whānau suffering with acute mental health crisis/distress, through means of acute assessment, brief follow up, connection with community services, initiation/discussion of treatment and make plans for a pathway forward once the crisis has past. The Acute Care team (crisis) is part of the wider Community Mental Health team here in Whakatāne, the team has strong support from both the Community Mental Health sector teams and the Mental Health Inpatient unit.
