About the role

We are looking for a Regional Support Officer with trade‑union experience to join the BMA London regional team on a six‑month fixed‑term contract. The role supports the regional team in delivering the Five Pillars strategy, including representing members, negotiating, supporting and organising representatives, campaigning, and recruitment. The successful candidate will work closely with BMA staff and representatives, applying transferable skills in negotiation, representation, campaigning and union organising.

Key Responsibilities

• Support BMA Local Negotiating Committees and regional practice committees.
• Provide individual and collective representation to members.
• Gather and evaluate information to develop strategies for complex negotiations, cases or campaigns.
