Applicants must have the following requirements:

Must have N6 / S4 (Ceramic) Or N6 / S4 (Met) Qualifications.

Must have at least 10 years of experience in refractory maintenance in the steelmaking environment.

Must establish a level of technical proficiency that is comparable to best practice.

Must ensure that no catastrophic refractory material failures happen.

Must be able to lead and motivate the employees in the refractory section.

Must ensure that the actual activities fit in with the predetermined objectives and planned activities.
