**Position Summary:** Full time (1.0 FTE) M-F. Coordinates functions associated with referral authorization processing for ambulatory care. Processes, monitors and assures that all functions are completed in an accurate, efficient and customer friendly manner. Is proficient at using eRecord. Is responsible for monitoring own performance on assigned tasks and duties. Self-directed: must make complex decisions independently and assist staff in complex decision making.

Uses excellent customer service and problem-solving skills to assure referrals and orders for durable medical equipment are processed in a timely fashion. This role maintains a high level of communication between clinicians and other team members to assure excellent patient care.
