Hitachi Energy is seeking an experienced and motivated R&D Team Manager to lead our Next Generation Grids Transformer team in Geneva, Switzerland.

How you’ll make an impact

• Lead, develop, and motivate an international R&D team of 5+ engineers with know‑how in medium frequency transformers, power converters and lab testing.
• Provide technical leadership and support the team in solving complex engineering challenges.
• Contribute to R&D strategy and technology direction, including development of roadmaps for the New Generation Grids Transformers product line.
• Plan, drive, and deliver R&D projects, ensuring alignment with scope, timelines, and quality targets.
• Collaborate closely with global R&D teams, engineering functions, and external partners.
