Job Description

Hours of Operation:

M-F, 8am-8pm

Sat/Sun, 8am-4pm

Urgent Care offers shift differentials for all shifts:

$2.00 per hour during regular business hours

$4.00 per hour after 5pm and weekends

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

This position operates diagnostic imaging equipment to obtain quality digital images of designated body portions for interpretation by physicians.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Confirms patient identity is correct, checks in patients, schedules appointments.
  • Creates Radiology Module.
  • Greets and courteously escorts patient and other guests to examination room.
  • Interprets patient histories and physician instructions.
  • Prepares patients for procedures utilizing aseptic and sterile technique.
  • Positions patients for radiologic examination. Selects exposure factors, takes exposure and processes images. Practices radiation protection.
