SUMMARY:

• Performs mammography examinations, patient education, quality control, and various computer assignments as required.


• Responsible for performing all general radiologic procedures with minimal supervision.
• Contributes to the quality of patient care delivered, and take an active role in evaluating and improving care.  Exhibits a patient–centered medical home approach to care delivery by working to improve the quality and efficiency of patient services.
• ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

• Responsible for the operation of radiological equipment to produce radiographs (x-rays) for diagnostic purposes, as directed by the physician.
• Review and integration of pertinent patient history and clinical data; then produces, records and processes mammographic images for interpretation by the radiologist.
