JOB SUMMARY
The Rad Tech operates x-ray equipment in support of the provision of diagnostic and/or therapeutic services to a specified patient population.
JOB DESCRIPTION

• Arrange patients for radiological exams
• Performs diagnostic radiological exams for use in diagnosis of disease
• Prevent patients from unnecessary radiation exposure
• Perform portable X-ray exams
• Develops exposed X-ray files
• Perform administrative duties as needed for patient instructions, film-filing, and maintenance of records

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Graduate of approved Radiologic Technical program
• BXMO license for X-ray technicians
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
• Licensed/registered with the appropriate state agency
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification
