Job Description
Job Summary
Preparing cost estimates, budgets, cost planning, checks, cost control and advice on all project works.
Job Responsibilities
- Calculate material quantities and costs, labor costs and an achievable project timeframe.
- Analyze cost for tenders and prepare valuation of works.
- Negotiating labor contracts and schedules
- Engage stakeholders on their requests.
- Monitoring subcontractors, safety practices, construction progress and material needs, including any changes which may impact costs.
- Monitor and control scope changes and analyze the effect of scope changes.
- Write reports detailing costs and progress.
- Establish a change management process.
Competence Requirements
- Verbal and written communication, including active listening for determining stakeholderโs needs, communicating them to the construction crew and preparing reports.
