Overview

The role involves managing quality inspectors and leads, overseeing direct examination of products to ensure quality standards and procedures are met and aligned with legislation, applicable code, and customer specifications. The position requires a high level of attention to detail and technical expertise and ensures adherence to the organization's quality assurance policies.

Responsibilities

• Support and direct Quality Inspectors and Leads.
• Identify and ensure NCR reports are followed up for remediation, including contacting and engaging internal purchasers and external suppliers.
• Train, coach, manage the performance of, and schedule assigned staff.
• Oversee inspections, reporting, documentation, and troubleshooting.
• In conjunction with the QC Manager, perform internal QA audits that are compliant with corporate policies, practices, and procedures.
