Actalent is seeking a lab technician to support an industrial paint manufacturing company in Columbus. This role involves coordinating the collection of random samples from production batches and conducting a wide variety of complex testing processes to measure the physical characteristics of products. The position is a long term opportunity and on 2nd shift, from 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM, Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities
+ Understand and follow a batch ticket (recipe) with high degree of accuracy for weights and measurements.
+ Perform a wide variety of complex testing processes on production batches to measure product’s physical or chemical characteristics, including viscosity, weight per unit of measure, flow, gloss, color characteristics, and similar tests.
