The Quality Inspector is responsible for performing incoming and in‑process inspections to ensure all purchased and manufactured components meet required specifications. This includes using precision measurement tools, interpreting technical drawings, maintaining accurate inspection records, and supporting both QA and manufacturing teams in a regulated environment. The role also requires proper handling, identification, and documentation of materials. This position is onsite in Irvine or Tustin, CA, 5 days per week (possible Saturday work) with 1–3 hours of required overtime per day.
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
Perform incoming and in‑process inspections on manufactured and purchased components per drawings and control plans.
Use properly calibrated gages and precision measurement tools (micrometers, verniers, dial calipers, hardness testers, surface testers, preset gauges).
Prepare and maintain component history records and incoming part documentation.
