BestStart Rongotai is a small, homely early learning centre licensed for 30 tamariki, set within a beautifully refurbished house in the heart of Kilbirnie. Our centre offers a warm, inclusive environment where everyone who walks through our doors quickly becomes part of our whānau.

We take pride in creating a rich, fun, and engaging learning space where meaningful relationships flourish between children, teachers, and families. Our strong community focus sees us heading out regularly on excursions, to the local library, Rita Angus Rest Home, and nearby shops, helping tamariki build real-world connections and supporting our “set for school” philosophy.
