QA/QC Inspector Position

Leita Steel, a leading structural steel fabrication company in Africa, accredited to ISO 9001 and ISO 3834 Part 2, is seeking a meticulous and experienced QA/QC Inspector to join our team. Reporting directly to the QA/QC Manager, this role is essential for pre-weld quality verification, ensuring accurate fit-up of components by boilermakers and assemblers, and upholding our commitment to superior, compliant structural steel products.

Minimum Requirements

Experience

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in quality assurance/control within the structural steel fabrication, boilermaking, or heavy engineering industry. At least 1 year focused on pre-weld inspections or fit-up verification. With hands‑on involvement in inspections.

Knowledge

• Thorough understanding of fit‑up processes, dimensional tolerances, and assembly techniques in structural steel fabrication.
