Our client is a well-known food manufacturer. Due to growth, seeking a Purchasing Specialist to join the Procurement team. Primary responsibilities include:

+ Monitor raw material inventory, forecast demand, and ensure timely replenishment to support uninterrupted production.
+ Create and manage purchase orders through ERP for approved vendors and non-system supply items.
+ Track open orders, confirm delivery schedules, and communicate potential supply chain delays.
+ Maintain accurate inventory records, reconcile stock levels, and oversee warehouse and co-packer documentation.
+ Coordinate label updates, purchasing documentation, and monthly inventory reconciliation processes.

Position reports to Director or Purchasing

Ideal candidates for Purchasing Specialist will possess the following

+ Bachelors degree.
+ 2+ years experience in food production environment
+ Understanding of GMP
+ Knowledge of Navision or Quickbooks a plus
