Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Purchasing Manager to join the leadership group. We are seeking a candidate with strong interpersonal skills, great problem solving abilities and analytic skills, in addition to a strong background and understanding of structural steel.

Responsibilities

• Plan, order and coordinate delivery of all structural steel materials with vendors to yard based on schedules for each project.
• Ensuring availability of materials at the correct time at best price for each project from the correct sources.
• Review material grades on material lists and ensure POs are created to match as required.
• Plan and organize and procure all sublet items the shop can not produce such as bent plate and heavy burning and ensuring those items arrive in time per the shops schedule.
