Pupil Welfare Support Assistant

Fixed Term for one year, term time only + 5 INSET days. 27.5 hours per week, 9am to 3pm, Monday – Friday.

Salary: Grade 2 (SCP 4) £25,185 per annum pro rata. Actual salary: £16,172 per annum (Pay award pending).

Responsibilities

• Champion for children’s needs, ensuring they are safe, cared for and their intimate needs met.
• Work as part of a team to look for opportunities for children with complex needs.
• Help shape children’s care plans with parents/carers, school staff and the SENDCo effectively.
• Work alongside the SENDCo to implement and monitor individuals’ personal targets and contribute towards EHCP and APDR reviews.
