DUTIES

1. Creates and maintains public service schedules in accordance with library policies, under the direction of the AUL. 


2. Communicates any changes of public service schedules to library technicians as needed.


3. Using library operational guidelines, and the provisions of the CUPE collective agreement, coordinates vacation and sick time requests and coverage. 


4. Works under the direction of faculty librarians to develop, implement, and assess processes and procedures for public services including:  patron accounts, borrower services, book stacks maintenance, interlibrary loans and resource sharing, information and reference services, course readings, student room bookings, and other public services as developed. 


5. Serves as the AUL delegate in the event of a customer service or facilities issue requiring immediate attention.
