Psychology Graduate – Behaviour Support Assistant

Interested in behaviour, mental health, and making a difference where it matters most?
A secondary school in Durham is looking for a Psychology graduate to support pupils with SEMH needs. These are bright young people who sometimes need a little extra help navigating school life.
You’ll work closely with pastoral staff, supporting students both in and out of the classroom.
The role includes:
• One-to-one mentoring
• Supporting emotional regulation
• Helping students re-engage with learning
• Acting as a calm, consistent adult presence
This is ideal experience if you’re exploring careers in youth work, counselling, educational psychology, or teaching.
