Job Title: Psychiatrist
Location: Memphis, TN 38120
Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Duration: Full-Time Position

• Responsibilities:
  Collaborate with VA Mental Health staff for inpatient psychiatric care, including admissions, diagnosis, treatment planning, management, discharge/transfer, and thorough documentation.
• Provide outpatient care such as evaluating new referrals, managing severely mentally ill patients, conducting follow-ups, and e-consults. Ensure post-discharge follow-up within 30 days.
• Deliver clinical psychiatry services in clinic and residential care settings, including patient examinations and report interpretation.
• Maintain punctuality and physical presence at all scheduled clinics.
• Manage an approximate caseload of 6 to 6.5 bookable patient hours daily (approximately six one-hour patients or twelve half-hour patients).
