Psychiatrist II Position

This position is located at North Mississippi State Hospital. It is a Psychiatrist II position, accountable for the assessment and treatment of mental illnesses. Provides thorough psychiatric services including assessment, diagnosis, prescriptions and treatment. Responsible for more elaborate, complex, and precise evaluation and care to severely mentally ill adults and emotionally ill adolescents. Prescribes, evaluates, and monitors administration of mediations, including in child and adolescent populations. Serves as a consultant to other medical staff and prepares and submits evaluation reports to the courts and testifies in court proceedings.
