Job Description
Overview This role focuses on engine and fuel control engineering for military aircraft, encompassing design change, obsolescence management, testing, and project oversight. Responsibilities
Serve as the technical authority for turbine engines, focusing on fuel control units, engine components, LRUs, and component repairs/re‑manufacturing. Manage the technical health of the engine fleet by monitoring and improving Condition Monitoring/In‑Service Health Monitoring (CM/IHM) programs at the engine and component level. Analyze engine and accessory performance data to recommend maintenance program changes, including TBO/MTBO adjustments, on‑condition strategies, and reliability improvements. Lead or support design change and obsolescence activities related to fuel controls and components, including alternate parts, repairs, and vendor changes.
