Job Description

We’re seeking a Senior Accountant to join a growing team in downtown Vancouver. The ideal candidate is a designated CPA and has 4+ years of relevant experience.

About the position
Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the senior accountant will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Support the month-end close process to ensure all reporting deadlines are met accurately and on time
  • Prepare and post journal entries across key areas including accruals, prepaids, payroll, fixed assets, and revenue/expense recognition

  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure all accounts are properly supported and resolved in a timely manner

  • Investigate and analyze account variances, ensuring clear explanations for unusual or significant fluctuations

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with ASPE

  • Collaborate with AP, AR, Payroll, and operational teams to ensure financial...
