Job Description
Our client is looking for a Project Bookkeeper. The successful incumbent will be responsible for recording and maintaining the business’s financial transactions and implementing the Company’s accounting systems, policies, and processes. The role reports firstly to the Finance Manager and then to the Project Management Office Head.
Minimum Requirements Grade 12 / Matric Certificate Tertiary Qualification in Accounting / Bookkeeping 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role PASTEL Accounting System or similar Advance Value Added Tax knowledge and its application Proficiency in Microsoft excel and word software Generally Accepted Accounting Principle General ledger Maintenance and Reconciliations Having a Driver’s License is strongly recommended Responsibilities include: Perform all projects activities related to the accounts payable function including issuing of purchase orders, preparing and / or reviewing of supplier reconciliations and processing of payments, Perform proje...
