Job Description

What you will do

  • We are seeking a Project Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing basic required system field devices and performing commissioning using standard configuration and commissioning tools. You will also troubleshoot and resolve system problems and respond to basic warranty calls. The Project Technician will keep Johnson Controls, contractors, and customers informed of job progress and any issues as necessary.

  • Install security system field devices as required for project completion
  • Commission newly installed devices using standard configuration and commissioning tools
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic system issues
  • Respond to and resolve warranty calls within service level agreements
  • Maintain clear and timely communication with Johnson Controls personnel, contractors, and customers on job progress, challenges, and resolutions
