Join the Ontario Federation of Indigenous Friendship Centres as a Project Specialist in Toronto, focusing on preventing gender-based violence against Indigenous communities, particularly 2SLGBTQQIA+ individuals. Your role will center on community development and impactful frameworks.
This position supports a 30-month project funded by the Government of Canada, empowering the OFIFC to increase effective responses to violence. You will play a key role in formulating inclusive practices, reviewing organizational resources, and collaborating with external partners to formulate impactful strategies. Effective communication will be vital as you prepare reports and guide engagement initiatives across Friendship Centres.
