Job Summary
The Project Safety Officer is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring safety programs, procedures, and guidelines to ensure a safe and compliant construction site. The role involves conducting regular safety inspections, identifying potential hazards and risks, and implementing mitigation measures to prevent accidents and incidents during project execution. The Safety Officer works closely with project teams, contractors, and security personnel to enforce safety standards and maintain overall site safety operations. The position also ensures compliance with regulatory requirements by coordinating with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and submitting mandated occupational safety and health reports. The Safety Officer must establish emergency preparedness and response programs, conduct safety drills, and continuously monitor safety performance throughout the construction lifecycle.
