Project Officer – Architectural (Planning & Facilities)

We are seeking a Project Officer – Architectural to join our Planning & Facilities team. The role involves leading architectural projects from initial CAD concepts through to final construction, ensuring that school facilities are renewed, maintained, and expanded in accordance with Board policies, industry best practices, and Ministry of Education regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute architectural and structural projects to keep OCSB facilities safe, modern, and conducive to learning.
• Act as the primary liaison between Contractors, Professional Consultants and School Officials (Principals and Superintendents) during school construction projects.
• Monitor progress of in‑house renewal and major maintenance projects to ensure quality and schedule compliance.
• Utilize CAD software to develop working drawings and construction documents.
