Job Description

Title: Project Manager - Ship Repairs & Conversions (Gul)

Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and direct ship repair, construction and conversion projects.

  • Conduct and lead the daily VSCC meeting on hot-works and incompatible jobs onboard to ensure safety of personnel and property are not endangered.

  • Meet repairs / refit schedules by planning, monitoring projects’ critical path, cost control and execution.

  • Develop good working relationship with customers and maintaining teamwork showing high interests.

  • Solve daily conflicts at ground level by monitoring and coordinating sequential and incompatible jobs affecting master schedule.

  • Closely liaise with classification societies, ship owners, owner specialist engineers, vessel crew and ship agents to ensure successful completion of the project meeting or exceeding customer’s expectations...
