Job Description
Job Title: Project Engineer
Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota
Type: 12-month Contract
Compensation: $55.00 - $57.00 per hour
Contractor Work Model: Hybrid – (4 Days Onsite, Remote 1-Day Per week)
Project Engineer will support capital projects at wind farms across the region, primarily in Southwest Minnesota, with sites throughout MN, SD, and nearby areas.
Project Engineer Responsibilities:
+ Manage a portfolio of approximately a dozen projects per year, overseeing the entire project lifecycle at wind facilities.
+ Plan and schedule capital projects at wind farms.
+ Order equipment and coordinate with contractors.
+ Communicate and collaborate with site Operations & Maintenance teams.
+ Perform limited research and development to select optimal equipment options.
+ Manage a multiyear (5-year) project portfolio, including budgeting and forecasting.
