Minimum Requirements Grade 12 / Matric Certificate. Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. GCC Mines and Works Certificate (Non-Negotiable). Minimum 10 years’ engineering experience within the mining industry. Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior engineering or project management role. Proven experience managing mining projects from concept to completion. Strong knowledge of Mine Health and Safety Act regulations and compliance requirements. Experience within underground mining operations. Strong budgeting, cost control, and contractor management experience. Project Management qualification advantageous. Experience with shutdowns, plant optimisation, and infrastructure projects. Strong understanding of mining equipment, maintenance strategies, and engineering best practices.
