OVERVIEW
The US Mexico Border Program Officer will be part of the team at USCRI Mexico's field office in Tijuana, involved in the implementation of recruiting university students to support the capacities of shelters in Tijuana and Mexicali.
The Program Officer will guarantee the participation of students in order to provide social services and professional experience in the program.
This position will report to the US Mexico Border Program Coordinator.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establish and maintain communication with shelters participating in the program;
- Identify needs of the shelters to assign students participating in the program to them;
- Coordinate events and raise awareness of the program in the universities in Tijuana and Mexicali;
- Undertake interviews of students to be recruited for the program;
- Monitor and supervise the compliance of activities of the students in their designated shelters;
