A client of Insight Global in the retail & technology industry is seeking a Program Manager I to support a middle mile logistics team focused on the procurement of trailers and refrigerated units. This person is going to be heavily responsible for data collection, report writing and managing escalations in this procurement process. This role will involve attending meetings, collecting information, setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, monitoring and summarizing progress of project/program in addition to preparing reports for upper management regarding status of project/program. The ideal candidate will be experienced and educated in the supply chain, logistics or commercial trucking industry and will be equipped with handling: escalations relevant to the middle mile process and procurement of vehicles.
