**Job Overview**

We are currently hiring a reliable and hardworking **Material Handler** to join our team in Portland, OR. In this role, you will be responsible for sorting and organizing scrap metals for recycling and processing, as well as supporting daily material handling operations. This is a physically demanding position that requires working both indoors and outdoors in a fast-paced industrial environment.

**Key Responsibilities**

+ Sort and organize various types of metal for processing and recycling
+ Safely handle and move materials throughout the yard and warehouse
+ Load and unload trucks with metal products
+ Operate in both indoor warehouse and outdoor yard settings (approximately 50/50 split)
+ Lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs consistently
+ Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
