Driver Hire Southampton is recruiting for a Junior Production / Assembly Technician on behalf of our client based in Winchester, who specialise in the manufacturing of lighting systems. This role is ideal for a technically skilled individual with experience in soldering, wiring, and mechanical assembly, who can work efficiently within a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

Carrying out soldering and wiring tasks
Completing basic mechanical assembly, including drilling and cutting aluminium
Reading and interpreting technical drawings
Performing cable wiring, crimping, and soldering
Testing products and completing production inspections
Working to tight deadlines while maintaining high quality standards
