Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Recommend improvements to departmental policy and direct implementation of procedures and controls
- Conduct research and analysis to ensure sourcing and procurement strategies are current and effective
- Develop and implement facilities and contracts with contractors and suppliers
- Manage company projects related to procurement and handle sensitive issues effectively
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers and contractors to ensure value for money
- Provide procurement advice to influence strategic directions within the company
- Deliver regular updates and detailed reports on procurement activities and performance
- Develop and administer standard contracts for goods and services across the organization
- Manage expectations and provide innovative solutions to complex procurement issues
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant laws and regulations
