Job Description
- Source, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors
- Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to anticipate purchasing needs
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws in procurement processes
- Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and improved quality
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
- Resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing discrepancies
- Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities, costs and supplier performance
