Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for purchasing and issuing purchase order for direct & indirect raw materials for manufacturing and office consumption in a timely manner.
  • Ability to negotiate for strategic partnership on support and pricing.
  • Source for office/manufacturing related raw materials/services quotes and knowledgeable in recommending similar type of materials/grades/composites.
  • Work with QA team for incoming specifications to ensure PO is meeting the requirements needed.
  • Work with Planning team to avoid costly urgent and sudden shortage/ramp-up of raw materials as well as urgent follow-up with vendors on critical parts required.
  • Coordinate between Warehouse and Production Departments.
  • Manage suppliers and their OTD performances (both delivery and quality) to ensure uninterrupted supply to production.
  • Monitor any potential slow-moving stock which may lead to obsolescence and maintain optimal level...
