About The Position
Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the Procurement Coordinator is responsible for the efficient expediting of material purchases, supplies, and services for Walters Inc. They ensure document control, process management, coordination with third parties, including vendors, suppliers, logistics providers, and cross-border transactions to align all purchases with the established procurement process.
Main Responsibilities
- Monitor the in-flow of materials, parts, and assemblies for the production process to ensure completion of timely orders.
- Communicate with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to confirm order details, resolve issues, and negotiate delivery schedules.
- Manage the flow of documentation for materials moving between mills, truckers, and brokers within Canada and across borders.
