Job Description Scope of Work: Manufacturing engineering for assigned product (module, sub-assembly, instrument level) for mass spectrometers. Product Quality, Yield, and Cycle Time: Lead cross functional team to drive continuous product and quality performance improvement i.e. factory yield, DEFOA, warranty/Annual Failure Rate and production efficiency (yield and cycle time). Product Sustenance: Performs a variety of engineering duties to support manufacturing operations. Provide technical support to day-to-day product issues and all product/manufacturing process related issues, which include customer quality issues, production line troubleshooting, PCA troubleshooting, product/part/process change validation, etc. Maintain & improve product quality. Redesign products/processes to meet cost objectives, obsolescence, and customer requirements.
