- Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing or operational processes to improve yield, quality, cycle time, and cost.
- Analyze process performance using data, statistical tools, and root cause analysis techniques.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve process issues, deviations, and bottlenecks.
- Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen).
- Select and qualify diamond tools based on material properties (ZnSe, Ge, Si, metals, polymers), and optimize feeds, speeds, and coolant usage to minimize tool wear.
- Establish and maintain process documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, control plans, and process flow diagrams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Production, Quality, Maintenance, R&D, and Supply Chain, ensuring processes comply with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
