Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Teacher who is passionate about improving life chances for all learners, with a particular emphasis on supporting children and young people with Additional Support Needs (ASN). The ideal candidate will have significant experience within ASN and demonstrate a professional commitment to leading change and driving improvement to ensure inclusive, positive outcomes for every learner.

Specific duties include:

  • Direct line management responsibility for allocated staff within SLS teams.
  • Performance management of staff, absence monitoring and attendance procedures, discipline and competency procedures, PRD, CPD, assist with selection and recruitment of staff.
  • Lead and manage service improvement priorities and team level development areas.
  • Be accountable for allocated budgets and the effective deployment of resources.
