Job Description
**Description**
SAIC is seeking a **Principal Systems Enginee** r to support the TACNET Sustainment Team who will assist and lead various efforts and initiatives involving our tactical networks. Ideal candidate will help fleet and government customer in high tempo situations to support and resolve issues in a methodical and swift manner to restore critical mission essential services at sea. Person will work closely with sustainment engineering team and development team to purpose and engineer solutions to improve, modernize, and sustain afloat networks using an agile methodology in a DevOps environment. Must be willing and interested in learning new toolsets, templates and workflows as business needs evolve.
**This role is Hybrid/Remote, must be local to San Diego, CA and okay with 10% travel.**

+ Provide System life cycle software engineering support for our NAVWAR and NIWC customers.
+ Focus primarily on software components load...
