Hours of Work: Rotating days, weekends and statutory holidays. Subject to change due to operational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical support to patients on scene and en route to hospitals, following the current National Occupational Competency Profile for Primary Care Paramedics, Paramedic Association of New Brunswick registration requirements, and Ambulance NB policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Use emergency techniques and medical treatments appropriate to unpredictable clinical presentations in the field.
• Serve as first on scene in crisis situations and remain until patient care is safely transferred.
