Opportunity

As a Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) with ALTA Paramedic Health (APH), you will assess emergency scenes and patients and may transport ill or injured patients from emergency scenes and between facilities. This includes operating ambulances or other modes of transportation. You may treat patients by administering minor medications, using basic life support (BLS) airway adjuncts, and providing semi‑automated defibrillation. You may also lead the BLS crew in delivering clinical care during patient transport or at emergency scenes. You will assist with ensuring that ambulances or other transport vehicles, including non‑emergent transport (NET) units, are properly stocked and equipped in accordance with APH standards. The working environment for a PCP is demanding and includes exposure to heat, cold, rain, snow, and wind, moving traffic, and industrial and agricultural equipment.
