**Position Summary**
Papillion Sanitation, a Waste Connections Company, is seeking a **Preventative Maintenance Mechanic** to join our evening shift maintenance team. This role is responsible for performing routine preventative maintenance and minor repairs on fleet equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and takes pride in keeping equipment in top working condition.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Perform preventative maintenance inspections and services on refuse trucks, trailers, and related equipment
+ Conduct oil changes, lubrication, filter replacements, and basic mechanical adjustments
+ Identify potential mechanical issues and communicate findings to lead mechanics or supervisors
+ Maintain accurate maintenance and inspection records
+ Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and DOT regulations
