Prep Operator| Monday - Thursday
Position Overview
This position is Monday- Thursday 3pm-1am.
Position Overview:
To work in 1 of 4 different positions on a rotating schedule or as business dictates around the Soft Surface (SS) Prep department to prepare material for the next step in the process of making good quality sample boards. The different areas include Stacking for the cut tables, running a small beveler, running a large beveler and Back stamper, operating the hole punch and labeling large swatches.
Primary Responsibilities:
Grab and Stack Swatches on a pallet or strips of carpet on buggies as they come off the Cut Tables. Scan barcodes on travelers of the cut swatches or strips to pallet tags with a scan gun for tracking purposes Help Cut Table Operator fill out the necessary paperwork for what material is being processed. Operate and Set-up Large Beveling machine to clean up the edges of the Large S...
