**Job Description**
The Power Plant Mechanic is responsible for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of building systems and equipment. The position involves routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex mechanical systems to ensure the building?s systems are operational and comply with all applicable codes and safety standards.
**Job Responsibilities**
+ Repairs valves, traps, separators, strainers, and all other plumbing devices, including fixtures.
+ May perform cutting and threading of pipes, sweating of copper tubing, and other types of plumbing connections (flared, compression, PVC, PEX, etc.
+ Repairs air conditioning equipment systems, plumbing, and electrical systems as required.
+ Monitors running equipment, reads and records log entries, i.e., temperatures, pressures, flow rates, etc.
+ Maintains critical inventory needed to keep operations running including maintaining and accounting f...
